Creator of porcelain lighting fixtures and decorative objects. I use the special properties of this ceramic to create pieces that are thin and translucent in the light. The search for elegant shapes inspired by nature gives my pieces an original, timeless character.
With porcelain, I evoke the beauty of nature through my creations. The soft luminosity of porcelain creates a soothing ambience in any interior.
I chose to set up my ceramics studio in Normandy. I set up my studio in an old Auvergne barn in a natural setting on the banks of a small river. The river workshop was born.
An eternal devotee of the beauty of nature and light, my work as a ceramist has naturally gravitated towards floral forms, inspired by nature without really copying it. Of all the clays, porcelain was the one that stood out for me, as its natural translucence allows me to play with the light in the lamps I make.
In my workshop, I make my pieces from scratch, modelling the shapes with wooden tools. One line after another, the porcelain comes to life and reveals its shape, each time different, unique and harmonious. Porcelain, a living material, chooses its own shape and roundness, which is then fixed forever by drying and firing.
My work is part of a sustainable development approach. My pieces are made from natural materials such as porcelain, clay, wood and natural fibers.

My background is that of an amateur with a passion for woodworking, and began when I was very young in my grandfather’s workshop. I discover its smells and sounds, its shavings and offcuts, where I get to know the material.
After making lots of swords and other toys, my teenage years were the time when I started to bring old furniture back to life and learnt some simple restoration techniques.
This has continued over time, with the desire to go ever further, both technically and creatively.
